The Gift of Salvation

I can't assume that everyone who reads my blog has already accepted the free gift of salvation that comes through Jesus Christ. So, I wanted to dedicate this page to those who want to know how to receive that free gift from God.

John 3:16 says,

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."

It goes on to say, in verses 17-18, "For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Let's get straight to the point. Jesus sacrificed His life for you and for me when He willingly obeyed the Father and died on the cross so that we could be saved from our sins and live a life of freedom and redemption in Him. He didn't come here to condemn us at all! He came because of His great love for all of us! If you want to accept that free gift of salvation now, all you need to do is to believe that He died and was raised for you, and confess it to Him. Romans 10:9-10 says,

"...that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

There is no "formula" or specific prayer that you must make to receive His free gift of salvation. Just believe in Him in your heart and then tell Him about it! But, for those of you who want a little help with this, here is an example:

Lord Jesus, I believe that You are the Son of God and that You died on the cross to bring the free gift of salvation to anyone who believes in You. I believe in You and I accept You into my heart right now! Help me to follow You and serve You from now on in my life! Amen!

Romans 5:8 says,

"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

I'm so glad He chose to die for me well before I even knew Him! Aren't you glad that He died for you, too?!

Blessings,

Tiffany ❤️
